A Couture Designer Moonlights at Macy's

Last month it was Karl Lagerfeld's turn to design a line for Macy's Impulse fashion line.  Now celeb-favorite Giambattista Valli is giving us common folk a chance to own a piece of his creative genius.  Stars from Selena Gomez to Victoria Beckham often don Valli's frocks on red carpets, and his Victoria platform heels have been a hit in Hollywood for years {check out the hot pink and white pair on Mary-Kate Olsen below}.  A few of his high-fashion designs:

Beginning October 26 {next Wednesday}, Valli's much more affordable fashions will be available at Macy's and on macys.com for a limited time.  {Click here and select the "Women" tab to preview the collection}.  Giambattista's Impulse collection is comprised mostly of fun and flirty party dresses in bright pinks, reds, and leopard-print, with a few LBD's thrown in for good measure ~ all perfect for the upcoming holiday season!  Some examples...

P.S., I die for the black petal-detail organza skirt above!  I know tie-neck blouses are in right now, but I'd probably pair it with a tucked-in black tank, a chunky silver necklace, and some serious heels.
